The man in my life is near perfect in every way, but he is a bit tough on his jewelry. I wish I’d snapped some pictures of the locket I made him for Christmas before he had a few weeks to beat it up, but the hustle and bustle of the holidays swept me up and I wasn’t Scrooge enough to order him not to wear his gift until I’d properly documented it.

So.

Here it is, not much the worse for some wear and tear. The image inside the locket is a picture of my eye taken by the recipient himself in summer 2008. You can see more of his work here. The locket itself is copper, darkened with liver of sulfur.
